For a workshop or measurement task, choose decimal output when a calculator, digital caliper, drawing, or machine expects a numeric value. Choose fractions when you are reading an inch ruler, tape measure, or common fractional hardware size. A fraction chart can show the nearest familiar increment, but the decimal value is the clearer choice when preserving precision matters.
Next, confirm the unit standard. US customary and imperial volume units are not always interchangeable, and a metric cup may differ from a US cup. For length, check the conversion direction: an inches-to-centimeters chart answers a different starting point from centimeters-to-inches.
Use browser Print when you want a paper reference from the current layout; print remains available without using the PDF/PNG download allowance. Choose PDF for a page-oriented file that is convenient to save and print, or PNG for an image you can place in notes, slides, or documents. Before printing, review orientation, paper size, margins, and scale so the chart remains legible and any size-sensitive reference is not unintentionally resized.
PDF is a page-oriented file for saving and printing. PNG is an image for documents or digital reference. Browser Print uses the current printable layout and does not use the PDF/PNG download allowance.
You can browse, adjust available options, and use browser Print without signing up. PDF and PNG exports follow the Free or Pro plan limits shown in the product; this page must not promise unlimited downloads.
Use decimals for calculations, digital tools, and precise values. Use fractions for inch rulers, tape measures, and familiar fractional sizes. When both appear, keep the decimal for accuracy and use the fraction as a practical reference.
Match the chart to the source and destination units. Check regional labels for cups, fluid ounces, gallons, and oven temperatures because similarly named units can differ. Confirm the conversion direction before reading a row.
Use 100% or Actual Size when physical dimensions matter; otherwise Fit may improve page coverage. Check paper size, orientation, clipped columns, text size, and margins in print preview first.
