1/8 and 1/16 for readable marked scales

Use these when a coarse physical scale or familiar shop fraction is the task. Their intervals are 0.125 and 0.0625 inch. Compare the interval with the actual marks and external requirement before replacing the decimal.

1/32 and 1/64 for finer comparison

Their intervals are 0.03125 and 0.015625 inch. A smaller interval can reduce rounding difference, but extra digits do not add accuracy to a rough measurement.

Why denominator is not project tolerance
